Oh the bear, the bear

alone in the cage
without a pair.

With his thick brown coat
covered in hair
standing near that
old shabby chair.

I cover my ice cream
from the sun's glare.
I show it, I lick it
without a care.

I shout, 'You can't have it,
go back to your lair'.
